This Bible, it makes my heart happy. Some brilliant person decided to combine two of my very favorite things into one thing! I adore the Gaithers and have been a fan of theirs for a very long time, so I was beyond excited when I saw this guy in my mailbox!
At first I was thinking I wouldn't enjoy this as much as my other versions simply because its in the KNJV, and its not a normal version for me. However I find that along with the songs and small devotionals that are in this Bible, the NKJV works wonderfully with it. I love reading the thoughts and wisdom coming from both Bill and Gloria Gaither, as well as their homecoming friends. And I LOVE seeing all the songs they've written especially when I can see the scripture that inspired and the stories behind the songs.
I adore this Bible. There isn't a strong enough word out there that can properly express how very much I love this Bible. It doesn't matter if you're not a Gaither's fan, the devotionals (and obviously the Word of God!!) make this Bible worth it. As a musician within the church I really appreciated and thoroughly enjoyed the different quotes they provided speaking about the importance of music in a believers life.
I highly recommend picking up this Bible!!
